Kota Gullu:

Kota Gullu in Ghanpur is unique for about 20 temples in various designs and sizes with an impressive Kakatiya temple architecture. Built during the 13th century A.D, the main temple is dedicated to ganapesvara. It is also believed that Ghanpur got its name from the illustrious King Ganapatideva who ruled the region between 1199-1260 A.D. Exposed to the vagaries of nature and continuous battles, the temple complex is in a dilapidated condition but speaks volumes of the architectural proficiency of the Kakatiyas. Now the temples are being renovated by the Department of Archaeology.

Pembarti:

The Pembarti village is famous for the metal crafts in Warangal district. The craftsmen follow the method of embossing on brass and copper sheets. In this technique, brass or copper sheet is cut into the required size & fixed on a wooden table, with four sides of the sheet covered with lac. Lac effectively fixes the sheet on wooden plank or table. A traced design is pasted on the sheet. Lampblack mixed with coconut oil is painted on paper, whereby the white lines appear clearly on the design paper. The craftsmen carve the design with fine instruments by following the lines. Later white paper and lac are removed and the sheet is subjected to further fine carvings and finishing is done on the buffing machine.

Ramappa Temple:

Ramappa or Ramalingeswara temple located in Palampet village, 70 km from Warangal town, is a magnificent monument. Dating back to 1213 AD, the temple documents the glory and grandeur of the Kakatiya kingdom. An inscription at the temple reads that it was built on behalf of the King Ganapati Deva by his chief commander Rudra Samani. This temple is known for its bracket figures. Other temples in the complex include Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple, Kaaleswara Temple, Nandi Mandapam, Kalyana Mandapam, Pakasala, Sheshanam and Kameswari Temple.

  Warangal Fort:

The Warangal fort was built during the 13th century by the Kakatiya ruler Ganapathi Deva and his daughter Rudramma. The remains of four massive stone gateways, similar to those of Sanchi and several exquisite pieces of sculpture can be seen. The fort comprises three rawports, among which two are of mud, and the inner most one is built of stone. Inside the fort are Sambhuni gudi, Venkatesswara temple, Keerthi Toranas and Kushmahal.
